「KinKi Kids」の堂本光一が作・構成・演出・主演を務める人気ミュージカル「Endless SHOCK」の舞台を映像収録して劇場公開。新型コロナウイルスの影響で一部の公演が中止となった2020年の公演「Endless SHOCK 20th Anniversary」を撮影した。ニューヨーク・ブロードウェイのショービジネスの世界で頂点を目指す若きエンターテイナーのコウイチ。彼の率いるカンパニーはオフ・ブロードウェイの小さな劇場で人気を集め、やがてそのショーを絶賛する記事が新聞に載る。ほどなくしてオン・ブロードウェイからもオファーが届き、一同は期待に胸を膨らませるが……。2000年から始まった「SHOCK」シリーズの20周年アニバーサリーイヤーの公演となった「Endless SHOCK 20th Anniversary」は、東京・帝国劇場で2020年2月4日から3月31日まで開催される予定だったが、新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大により、2月26日の公演を最後に以降は中止に。公演中止後、無観客の帝国劇場にクレーンカメラ3台を含む16台のカメラを設置し、ドローンも飛ばしながら撮影を敢行。通常の観客席からは見ることのできない視点からも役者たちの熱演をとらえた。

The Concubine (Mihiro) was promoted in Ooku Castle and her new responsibility is to teach the young shogun with carnal knowledge. Her beloved grandfather, retired Reverend Eaton, seems to be seriously ill, but tries to pretend that nothing is wrong. Vicky met the rich but emotionally troubled Zachary Gray the previous summer, and he reappears to renew the acquaintance. Another boy, 17-year-old Adam Eddington, recruits Vicky to help him with a research project, working with a dolphin called Basil. Vicky discovers she can communicate telepathically with the dolphin and his mate - and possibly with Adam as well
